What is the ACF?
The Army Cadet Force (ACF) is a youth organisation, sponsored by the Ministry of Defence, which offers some 50,000 boys and girls opportunities to try exciting and adventurous activities. The ACF has been successfully helping young people for over 100 years.
The purpose of the Army Cadet Force is not to recruit for the Regular or Armed Forces, it is not part of the Army, there is no call-up liability and it is not the Territorial Army. Neither is it designed to make you or anyone join the Army, however, if you are interested in the Army as a career, we will give you advice and assistance.
